About Cro-Magnon
In 1996, Shigekazu Ohtake (Drums), Tsuyoshi Kosuga (Guitar & Bass) and Takumi Kaneko (Synthesizers) have met in Boston and started to jam together. After returning to Japan, they joined Jazzy Sport, a relatively small record label from Japan that has garner worldwide attention for their nu-jazz and jazz-influenced hip-hop releases.

Based on soul music, Cro-Magnon have succeeded to fuse all the good parts of house, dub, jazz, funk, reggae and all other elements of music into one, with the essence of Cro-Magnon. They have been touring all over the world, establishing a solid …reputation for their unique live performance.

About Masaya Fantasista
Masaya Fantasista is a DJ/Producer hailing from Japan and one of the members of jazz influenced hip-hop three-piece known as Breakthrough. He is known for his unique style that fuses broken beats, jazz, soul and hip-hop in his work.
